What we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Privacy, in plain terms

We collect the email and details you give us through forms on this site. We use them to reply to you, and — only if you opt in — to send our monthly newsletter or follow-ups about resources you downloaded. We don't sell your data, we don't track you across other websites, and we don't run advertising pixels. You can be removed anytime. You can also ask us at any point to confirm what we have on you, export it, correct it, or delete it.

What we collect

• Form submissions (name, email, company, phone, message) when you fill them in.
• Readiness assessment answers, if you choose to email yourself the results.
• Standard server logs (IP, user agent, request path) for security and debugging.

What we don't do

• We don't run third-party advertising or marketing pixels.
• We don't sell, rent, or trade your data.
• We don't profile you across other websites.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You can ask us at any time to: confirm what we have on you, export it, correct it, or delete it. Two ways to do it:

• Self-serve: visit /privacy/manage and request an export or deletion. We'll email a confirmation link to verify it's you, then action the request immediately.
• By email: write to privacy@datamug.com and we'll action the request within 30 days (usually within 48 hours).

Email opt-out

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. We honor it immediately and permanently. You can also email privacy@datamug.com with "unsubscribe" in the subject line.

Cookies

We use one first-party cookie to remember your consent banner choice. We do not use any third-party tracking cookies. Choosing "Essentials only" prevents any non-essential cookies from being set.

We share data with the following sub-processors strictly for service delivery:

• Resend (transactional email)
• Our cloud database provider (data storage)
